Tiff16 + Exif -> JPEG : Exif lost

Hi,

I tried to convert (ImageMagick-6.5.7-Q16) a 16 Bit Tiff image to jpeg with

convert -verbose -geometry 50% Profile.tif Profile.jpg

The Tiff contains Exif data which is no longer in the Jpeg. I googled and it
seems that ImageMagick cannot write Exif data into Tiffs. But in my case it
should write Exifs into Jpegs (Converting Jpeg to Jpeg retains Exif).
