-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Browsing into imagemagick site and archives, I found nothing about animated PNG, probably because it's a quite recent format (only supported by - as far as I know - Firefox 3 and Opera). I thought about writing to this mailing list asking for support for it (notably, in the "animate" command line tool, but also in rescaling capabilities) because I believe in the next future it will replace animated gifs in a lot of cases. I don't know much about the structure of Image Magick's code, but I read ([1]) that it is a wrapper around several "delegates", including libpng: does it mean that new Imagemagick versions have - for instance (I thought about writing when I noticed Wikipedia's Mediawiki was unable) - the capability to resize APNGs (since libpng now does support APNGs)? What about the possibility to create APNGs? I imagine tools like animate don't actually know that libpng can create animations, but it would maybe be trivial to "teach them"? Or would it be interesting to wrap on an already existing small program ([2]) that converts TGAs to APNGs? Excuse me for my poor technic language and knowledge.
