Image Compare fails

hi,

I want to compare to images with PerlMagick - attached my script and  
sample images as ZIP archive.

I should get high values for ERROR, but I get always "0" for any  
images I compare. because these samples are pure BLACK and pure White  
Images.

It was working with older version of ImageMagik. But since 6.4.9 and  
6.5.5 it seems to be broken.

Help is verry much needed.
