Debian backports

According to the fine manual, it is possible to remove all but one profile from an image like this

convert +profile '!icc,*' 

However, this does not work with 6.3.7 on Debian Lenny, 6.4.2 on OS-X and 6.4.5 on Ubuntu 9.04. I actually want it on lenny, but before posting here complaining of the bug, I hunted for a slightly later version avaialble to me, and found that the bug as fixed by ver. 6.5.1 which is in Ubuntu 9.10.

So, the question changes from one of fixing this bug, because that has been done, to one of where to find a backport for lenny of a more recent imagemagick . I've asked the google, with not much success.
