Help needed!

Hi, after getting no response to my last post, I have to write about this again, because right now my IM (6.5.8-10) isn't working properly, and I need to fix this asap. What I am getting when performing 'display [image]' is display: UnableToOpenConfigureFile `delegates.xml' @ configure.c/GetConfigureOptions/589. display: NoDecodeDelegateForThisImageFormat `splash_screen.png' @ constitute.c/ReadImage/531. display: UnableToOpenBlob `logo:': ?]?? @ blob.c/OpenBlob/2481. I even went so far as to uninstall/install IM anew (via 'Synaptic'; I'm on Ubuntu Karmic), but to no avail. What is the above error message telling me, especially UnableToOpenConfigureFile `delegates.xml' and what do I have to do to fix this?
