Re: Installation on Windows adds Autorun registry key calling " convert.exe $*"

I cannot see any use in this. I have just deleted this entry, started Windows anew and 
convert -version
still calls IM's version of convert.exe, not the system tool.
As pointed out in http://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/windows/#convert_issue , the re-ordering of the path environment variable solved this problem, with no need for a registry key. To be on the sure side which 'convert' you call, you can use the strategies explained in http://www.imagemagick.org/Usage/windows/#debugging .

I think this page is rather outdated. There is no environment variable called MAGICK_HOME in current Windows versions of IM.
