ghostscript in Snow Leopard

Can anyone verify that, in 10.6.5, when you use convert on a postscript
file, the Activity Monitor says 'gs' rather than convert?

When in 10.4, Activity monitor would show 'convert' until it was using
and postscript file, then it would change to 'gs'.

Now after reinstalling everything in 10.6.5, it always says 'convert',
even when working on a postscript file. I'm not sure if something has
changed with the updates, or if Imagemagick it not seeing ghostscript
correctly.
