The Art Deco-style Convention Hall was the centerpiece of Philly's
original convention center and a primary civic venue for decades. In
this, the fourth session of the hearing, opponents of the demolition
will finally present their case. The task force includes former
Planning Commission Chairman Gary Hack and John Gallery, Executive
Director of the Preservation Alliance for Greater Philadelphia. The
primary change, so far, is the addition of more detailed information on
the Committee to Save Convention Hall. Rob Bender has posted some great
