Hi group - Two easy questions about Kino / Ubuntu capabilitiies: 1) can Kino import .avi files? I'm used to working strictly with dv, but my little digicam creates avi files that I might like to add to a disc with other edited video. If it's documented then just point me to it. 2) My local school district often films district events and makes them available in as completed DVD. A local organization I work with would like to take this DVD, "open" it (so to speak) and be able to take clips and put them on our web-site. If need be I suppose I could go back to the district and ask for video in DV format but I don't want to hassle them. Can I use Kino / Ubuntu to reverse engineer the DVD?
