Re: kino will be only a dv editor forever?

Hi,

while we are at that... any app you would recommend for editing HD material?

I know of cinellera but it is *way* to slow (even for SD) and *way* to
awkward and unstable... it is just unusably slow and unstable even on a
_fast_ quad-core...

I know of blender (which I (mis-)use for that, currently)... but
video-editing with a 3D-App? Don't get me wrong, it is quite good at it,
but it definitely is not user-friendly for video-editing (it definitely
is for 3D, btw...)

All other things I tried, were in such an infancy state, that they are
useless, even for home-videos... Just ridiculously infancy.

Kino is cool, mature and stable... I even would transcode the material
to dv for editing with it, but loosing that much of the original
resolution of my footage is unacceptable for me (if you ever saw
1920x1080 progressive HD, you know that you'll never go back to SD...)

So, is there something recommended that I missed so far?
