One other thing which you can try is to connect the two PCs with each 
other (if you have them in one place and have a matching cable).
If each of them reports two nodes then, they are good and the problem is 
with the camcorders or the camcorders' cables.  If the PCs do not detect 
each other, then the physical interface of one or both PCs is damaged or 
the cable is defective.
