The video and audio files are all that's needed with the Windows app.
It's rather trivial then to make the DVD menus look and behave however
you want.

When I first started messing with video editing on Linux several years
ago, the authoring tools/frontend left a lot to be desired and that's
one of the reasons I use the Windows app although I've never liked that
OS. 

Perhaps someone on the list knows why we don't have a Linux DVD
authoring tool that's as good as something like DVD Lab Pro.
