Once you have the audio and video files, it's not too hard to make a DVD
with the Windows app. Trying to author a DVD was and I guess still is
not easy to do with Linux. So, I use an app that does what I want even
though it's a Windows app and I have to run it on Windows machine.

That was my goal too and see where it got me... 

I guess you'll have to go with Apple OS X then in order to get a good
DVD authoring tool that's not for Windows.  Unless Dan wants to write
one for us?  Seems like he is busy working on a new tool or framework
which I forget the name of. I looked at it a couple of times and could
not make heads or tails of it. 

I think we have strayed a bit off topic, so I have no more to say about
the matter.
