Hi, Maybe I should add how I proceed to make DVDs from my tapes. It's not the fastest way but it fulfills my requirements: 1. Grab DV using dvgrab 2. edit in kino 3. encode everything to mpeg2 using smil2yuv and mjpegtools (a shell script using denoising, yuvcorrect etc etc to get an "optimal" view, mpeg2encoder) 4. Use dvdstyler to create a DVD iso with menus etc 5. Burn to DVD with k3b The most time-consuming part besides 2. is 3. But I run it usually overnight.
