I have a partial fix....though not perfect.  I selected 
Edit--->Preferences--->Audio---> nothing in the "audio device" box.   
Enable Audio Output is selected.


BUT.....the audio and video aren't in syn.  The video playback speed is 
fine but the audio is out of sync with it.


Any ideas what to do?
