This, or even 9000, does not change behavior of my Canon MV5i. firewire-ohci's debug logging only shows complete transactions going back and forth, AFAICT (outgoing write transactions to FCP_REQUEST, incoming write transactions to FCP_RESPONSE; both are split transactions and block writes or quadlet writes). Seems like this needs to be debugged at the AV/C level. The gscanbus crashes let me suspect that the camcorder sends malformed FCP frames. -- Stefan Richter -=====-==-== =-== --=-- http://arcgraph.de/sr/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ RSA(R) Conference 2012 Save $700 by Nov 18 Register now http://p.sf.net/sfu/rsa-sfdev2dev1
