Hello,
My name is Ellie and I have NO idea how I have become part of your email
list...I have
been getting all these emails about things that I don't know much
about....I tried
removing me email but wasn't successful...could you please tell me how I

I was subscribed to LAU and LAD for a year or two, and I'd highly
recommend them to anyone interested in learning about Linux audio. The
trouble was, there were so many fascinating discussions to read and
participate in, that I never got around to writing much code. It wasn't
until after I unsubscribed that Tinara started getting some real momentum.
;)
I actually discussed Tinara with Paul Davis on the LAU list, back in
February. I don't think he quite understood my vision for the project, and
I was left with the impression that he thought I was wasting my time, and
that I was duplicating much of Ardour's functionality. Regardless of what
he actually felt, however, it didn't seem like there was all that much left
to discuss, until I finally make a release announcement (at which point I
plan to subscribe again, at least for a while). FWIW, the discussion of
