Job Descriptions:

Software Engineer, Production Data Management System

Develop and maintain a componentized production data management system used
to track the creation and editing of products created in a digital
production pipeline for visual effects and CG animated films.

The development centers around data management for Maya related products,
but needs to integrate with other packages or software languages.
Development of a robust software testing system and quality assurance
procedures will also be required.

Required Skills:

- Software QA experience

Senior Software Engineer/Architect, Production Data Management System

Lead a small team of software developers and production TD's in the design,
development, and maintenance of a componentized production data management
system used to track the creation and editing of products created in a
digital production pipeline for visual effects and CG animated films.
Responsible for the gathering requirements from various productions,
developing proper specifications and project plan, day-to-day management of
the team, and ensuring clear communication to the user community during the
project.

Skills:

- Project management experience

- GUI design

Software Engineer, Volume Render Development

Job focus is on the development and integration of a volume renderer into a
Maya/Houdini based FX animation pipeline. Development also includes
integrating volume rendering into a proprietary lighting pipeline based on
Pixar's RenderMan. Also, integration into a new lighting pipeline based on a
ray-tracing renderer.

Experience in the following areas highly desired:

            - C/C++ experience

            - excellent math skills

            - ray tracing render development

            - experience with Houdini or similar FX packages

            - sampling algorithms / probability density functions (pdf)

            - ray marching/volume rendering techniques

            - spatial data structures
