Introduction

I am producing this film:

It's a documentary on the cultural implications of the global shift to open
source technology.  We basically are looking at how people in different
countries of the world are looking into the future to see how they think
that open source software (OSS) will change their lives.  We have some very
cool developers in the film, such as Brian Behlendorf, Nat Friedman
(possibly the funniest developer alive), Miguel de Icaza, and Richard
Stallman.  We also have biz leaders such as Jack Messman, Michael Robertson,
and Mitchell Baker.  We also have prominent politicians such as the Mayor of
Munich (Christian Ude) and Gilberto Gil, the international rock star who was
appointed to be the Culture Minister of Brazil by Lula da Silva.

I also have this project, which is an attempt to create local hardware
exchanges focused just on computer hardware.  It is free as in beer and free
