Re: Animation for Television

The term "production pipeline" is typically used to encompass the  
entire chain
of procedures and software used to create a finished product.  Where  
I work
(PDI/Dreamworks)  that pipeline could include commercial modeling and  
animation tools,
proprietary surfacing and lighting tools and various scripts to queue  
requests to the render farm
and assemble completed frames.
