GraphicsMagick and ImageMagick provide an 'animate' command which is able to animate very short 1920x1080 sequences in "real time". Unfortunately, playback is accomplished by buffering to RAM. RAM quickly runs out so you need a 64-bit system with a lot of RAM in order to handle playback for 30 seconds. Time is required to read the frames, although frames are initially shown in close to real-time while they are converted to X11 images, after which the sequence repeats over and over. There is no support for audio and timing is imprecise so synchronization would be a real problem. You will definitely want a "Q8" build even though it may sacrifice a little bit of image quality. Real time playback directly from uncompressed disk files is quite challenging and requires quite robust hardware and software optimized specifically for that task.
