Hi marvel-gurus,
I'm a relatively new linux user attempting to get a Marvel G200 working in xubuntu 7.10 and I'm not having much luck. xawtv won't run so I tried v4l-conf and it complains that it it can't find /dev/video0. I'm pretty sure that's because I don't have the right drivers loaded.

My assumption: in order to get any tv in/out functionality I need to install the driver_fb module. Is this true?

Also, before I waste hours of my life recompiling kernels (which I've never done successfully before) I need to ask: Will the driver_fb for kernel 2.6.19 work with kernel 2.6.22?

Thanks for any assistance you can provide,
Alan
