Last summer i created a patch http://dev.kewl.org/tmp/MatroxMarvel/driver_fb.diff
to allow the capture feature of my matrox marvel to work in kernel 2.6.20
or was that 2.6.21?

MJPEG capture appeared to work ok, albeit grainy, but that may have
been the source, however, the console turned green and unintelligible.
AFAIK, the console problem is a known one but I have no idea how to
rectify that.

Someone can test the patch with 2.6.22 and see if it works?

Maintaining the driver to compile is one thing, understanding the
hardware internals another. Creating patches isn't so hard but
anything else requires much more time and I doubt if anyone would
volunteer.

Cya!
