MCF development and this mailing list

Hi,

I don't know whether anyone is reading this anymore, but...

Several people said that they wanted to participate in development. A 
few wished to write the code and one felt like working with the format 
specifications.

Now that we're on xmas holidays, and probably have a lot more time to 
work than usual, it would be a good idea to actually try getting some 
work done.

I request anyone - who have been studying the specs and is still 
interested - to join irc://irc.freenode.net/#mcf and get the things 
rolling, today :)

Then there is something about this list. We are apparently getting 
spammed and something must be done about it. One option would be closing 
the list and moving discussions to irc or somewhere else. Suggestions on 
this are welcome.
