Okay, people, relax! Sorry, but I really have to agree with foogod on some points. The whole page issue in the beginning did keep me from just handling quick problems (like the temporary iframe, which is still from the first pages, like the contact page at that time was simply "Go mailbomb ChristianHJW". The contact page changed though, somehow the page with the iframe didn't). In the beginning I had this quick-quick-quick motivation. I did the design in 10 minutes, implemented it in an hour or so, and when the PHP script arrived (thanx hikke!) I had the first temporary pages up really fast. Then I began redoing the first temp pages, and replace it with something more final. I did all the pages that were up on wiesneronline.net/homepage at that time. But work wasn't finished from there, there were still a lot of things to deal with. Even the whole site structure was undefined (Christian wanted some extra stuff, and I had some ideas about it too). Then came the issue. At first I was really like demotivated, and kindof unsure too, since basically anything I'd do on my own (I work most efficient on my own) could be shouted at by robux. And that with Christian running around like a chicken saying "robux is our most important developer, we can't have him leave the project". I had more like this opinion that if he left for any reason like this he wouldn't be worth the effort to begin with anyway. But well, had to be careful. When the whole flame ended and stuff I really didn't feel like doing anything about it at all. Christian wanted to have it public soon anyway. Not that it was ready for anything like that. Time passed and I adjusted some things. But not anything that'd make it really ready to go public. But well, I'd lost my spirit anyway. So came yesterday (or was it the day before?). Anyway, Christian wanted to put it up on the main URL. Ok, I said. So I logged in, wrote a new "Latest News" thingie, moved the old page to ./oldpage, moved the new page to the main dir, and there it was. Christian and I decided that it was incomplete, but at least less outdated than Tronic's old page. So that was kindof the end of the story. Homepage up, but not good enough to be up. And everyone's to blame. Make peace. We'll get it fixed. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: ApacheCon, November 18-21 in Las Vegas (supported by COMDEX), the only Apache event to be fully supported by the ASF. http://www.apachecon.com
