I vote for having 3 sectors :


1. General

All General stuff should go here, like interesting news, general
organisation issues, positioning MCF in the A/V community and discussions
about cooperations with other projects.


2. Technical Discussion

Discussion of specifications, implementations and all things concerning CVS


3. Alpha Testing section

Title says it all, this is the section for MCF alpha testers. Important
difference to TCMP beta test forums : It should be visible as an existing
section to everbody in the General Index, readable for all registered
members ( and only registered !! ), but only alpha testers are allowed to
post. The links for the binaries of the alpha versions will be spread via
PM, no links be posted in the forums.


Of course, i know that corecodec is not up yet, so my special wished for 3.
are irrelevant for the time being, but i am looking into the near future
when corecodec.com goes online.
