Cheers, Alex just pointed me to a potential problem with us using L-GPL license for MCF libraries. I guess the original plan was to allow coders of other software to include MCF libraties in their code if they give us credit for this. Now it seems this is impossible with L-GPL, as they are not allowed to distribute our libraries with their package if its not opensource / GPL it self, but they can only link from their software to MCF libraries. I am not sure if this is a good thing to do at all, as MCF will probably never be supported from commercial software in this case ? -- Christian Sites : http://mcf.sourceforge.net http://sf.net/projects/mcf MCF mailing lists : news://news.gmane.org gmane.comp.video.mcf.general gmane.comp.video.mcf.devel gmane.comp.video.mcf.mplayer gmane.comp.video.mcf.announce gmane.comp.video.mcf.mpc Soon : www.corecodec.com ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf
