compilation problem continued

builtin_compiler faults at ralloc_steal();
at something->something->child.
The somethings are tested for NULL but
perhaps they are not what expected.

I have heard that O3 compiler flag can
do weird things. Can anyone test with
O2 flag? I don't know much about Makefiles.
