Hello everyone, please help me. I'm not a programmer, designer, just user of Linux OS, but I want to make its graphic system better. How can I set gallium llvmpipe driver in it. I try to use Ubuntu 13.04. I used to Debian before glxinfo | grep render direct rendering: Yes OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on ATI RV350 GL_EXT_vertex_array_bgra, GL_NV_conditional_render, glxgears 301 frames in 5.0 seconds = 60.025 FPS But in this configuration the FPS more twice. glxinfo |grep render direct rendering: Yes OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on llvmpipe (LLVM 0x209) GL_NV_conditional_render, GL_AMD_draw_buffers_blend, glxgears 640 frames in 5.0 seconds = 127.836 FPS But unfortunately in Ubuntu 13.04 I can't do the same: Only so: # uname -a Linux l 3.8.0-19-generic #30-Ubuntu SMP Wed May 1 16:36:13 UTC 2013 i686 i686 i686 GNU/Linux l# lspci |grep VGA 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: Advanced Micro Devices [AMD] nee ATI RV360 [Radeon 9600/X1050 Series] # dpkg -l xserver-xorg-video-radeon ii xserver-xorg-v 1:7.1.0-0ubu i386 X.Org X server -- AMD/ATI Radeon # lsmod |grep "radeon\|fglrx" radeon 870822 3 ttm 71289 1 radeon drm_kms_helper 47545 1 radeon drm 228750 5 ttm,drm_kms_helper,radeon i2c_algo_bit 13197 1 radeon #glxinfo |grep render direct rendering: Yes OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on ATI RV350 GL_EXT_vertex_array_bgra, GL_NV_conditional_render, # glxinfo name of display: :0 display: :0 screen: 0 direct rendering: Yes server glx vendor string: SGI server glx version string: 1.4 client glx vendor string: Mesa Project and SGI client glx version string: 1.4 GLX version: 1.4 OpenGL vendor string: X.Org R300 Project OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on ATI RV350 OpenGL version string: 2.1 Mesa 9.1.1 OpenGL shading language version string: 1.20
