Radeon HD-3470 audio through displayport

Hi There I want to know if my Radeon HD-3470 (it only has displayport) can carry audio through the displayport. The chipset is RV620 pro. I am at my whits end. Could someone please tell in addition how I can find this type of information out for any other radeon cards in the future.
