Thank you! 21.04.2016, 11:31, "Benjamin Bellec" <[email protected]>: Hi, All is correct with that. The Evergreen GPU family is handled by the r600g Mesa "driver". r600g covers several GPU generation : R600, R700, Evergreen and Northern Islands GPUs. That was the same before with r300g which handles R300, R400 and R500 GPUs. And the same for the "radeonsi" drivers. 2016-04-21 9:14 GMT+02:00 Constantine Kharlamov <[email protected] >: I'm sorry, wrong table linked in the mesa site, I meant this http://xorg.freedesktop.org/wiki/RadeonFeature/#index5h2 21.04.2016, 10:04, "Constantine Kharlamov" <[email protected] >: I've a HD 5730 card which is, accordingly to Wikipedia ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AMD_graphics_processing_units#Mobility_Radeon_HD_5xxx_Series ), have a "code name" REDWOOD, whatever it is. So, accordingly to the Mesa table ( http://xorg.freedesktop.org/wiki/RadeonFeature/#index6h2 ) the REDWOOD cards are managed with "evergreen" driver. However X11 loads by default "r600" instead. So: 1) Is it a bug, do I have to report it? 2) Is there a way to force X11 to load evergreen driver instead? I tried the option… Driver "evergreen" …in the xorg.conf, but it triggers an error. _______________________________________________ mesa-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/mesa-users _______________________________________________ mesa-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/mesa-users
