Running ldd provided: libGL.so.1 => /opt/mesa/lib/libGL.so.1 (0x00007fde3d918000) It appears the libGL I compiled is being used. With LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose: name of display: :0 libGL: OpenDriver: trying /opt/mesa/lib/dri/r600_dri.so libGL: Can't open configuration file /home/dan/.drirc: No such file or directory. libGL: Can't open configuration file /home/dan/.drirc: No such file or directory. libGL: Using DRI2 for screen 0 It also appears the driver I have compiled is being used. I wondered about the configuration files but this also occurs when I run glxinfo using the main system driver so I don't think it's related.
