I have noticed that problem on my machine here too. After applying that patch the amount of ram lavrec needs over the time is much smaller than before. I have just added that patch to the CVS. The After about 10 Minutes I have that stats (much lower than before): PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND 16466 root -2 -15 46548 3080 824 S 0 0.3 0:06.62 lavrec 16466 root -2 -15 46804 3372 828 S 1 0.4 0:10.02 lavrec The 2nd line is after 15 minutes. Ther other problem you wrote about the broken lav2mpeg script was solved some time ago (Fri Jun 16 13:29:39 2006). When somebodey enter a problem into the tracker (1506476). auf hoffentlich bald, Berni the Chaos of Woodquarter Email: [email protected] www: http://www.lysator.liu.se/~gz/bernhard ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
