Why do you think so ? I think there was never a support for that in the 
zoran driver.

Both drivers (Zoran and Matrox addon) were for different cards. The main 
difference from my point is that the zoran driver for the matrox addon 
board never made it into the linux kernel. So if you want to use a 
recent linux kernel using the zr36057/67 driver as base might be better.
