I get this config.log as a result for sudo ./configure under Ubuntu:

bash: syntax error near unexpected token `config.log'
sf@sf-desktop:~/Desktop/mjpegtools-1.9.0rc3$ cat config.log
This file contains any messages produced by compilers while
running configure, to aid debugging if configure makes a mistake.

It was created by mjpegtools configure 1.9.0, which was
generated by GNU Autoconf 2.59.  Invocation command line was
.....

Maybe someone can take a look at it.
