Re: lavplay does not work

More additional info:

(1) record.avi was created with streamer; lavrec would not work because
my bttv card uses v4l.

(2) ffprobe record.avi produces normal output.

(3) If I do

lavtrans -o sound.wav -f w record.avi

then sound.wav file would not play, just produces an initial pop.
ffprobe sound.wav complains about not finding codec info.
