Dear MPEGIF News Readers,

 

I hope that you find the following information informative and interesting. 

 

For MPEGIF, this years NAB was a great success. 23 member companies
participated as exhibitors demonstrating their products and services.
Together with NAB, we organised another full day conference -our MPEGIF
Master Class titled "Advanced Video Services in Next Generation Video
Ecosystems" was a packed. We attracted close to 150 attendees from around
the world, we also filled the House of Blues at the Mandalay Bay with close
to 200 people, during our MPEGIF Networking Party. Lastly we were able to
recognize 15 companies which are participated in the MPEGIF Logo
Qualification Program (http://logo.mpegif.org). 

 

The next major activity for MPEGIF is the 2006-2007 Annual Members Meeting.
This meeting will include discussions regarding the future of MPEGIF, the
election of Board Members to the Board of Directors and as always a
discussion of where MPEG-4 fits into the industry. If you are a member of
MPEGIF and have not yet RSVP'ed for this meeting please contact Nicola

Lastly our sights are now set on IBC ( <http://www.ibc.org> www.ibc.org). We
will be announcing our plans and program for this major milestone of 2007.
