If the build on OS/2 is broken and works again
after this patch, commit please. (You can commit
to MPlayer SVN, right?)


Can you confirm that in your installation

  sh -x -c 'ar 2>&1 | grep "\[T\] " ; echo "RC $?"'

works as expected?

If so does it mean OS/2 "ar" can create thin arhives
but the remaining tool chain does not support linking
them?
