Registering MPlayer at Libera IRC network

Hi all,

currently the freenode[1] IRC network is in the news quite a bit.

There has been some dispute and some staff from freenode left to
found Libera[2] IRC network.

As some people (dalias, iive, Compn) on the mplayer developer channel
(#mplayerdev on freenode) are worried about the future of the freenode
IRC network and its future directions indeed seem not very clear to me,
I started the process of registering MPlayer as a project on Libera.

There were 2 channels already created on Libera, named #mplayer and
#mplayerdev, you can use them if you like. They are not totally under
our control but so far everything has been peaceful.

I will name Compn, iive, reimar and beastd (that last one is me) as
group contacts at Libera.

As soon as there are news about the registration, I will keep you
updated.

For now I don't see a big problem using both networks for a while,
but sooner or later we should decide for one as it's easier to use
that way and better to have all people in the same channels.
