no thanks...  btw could you please add [email protected] as
accepted sender for mplayer-g2-dev ? i'm not using arpi@mplayerhq
address for a while, and the @thot address is rejected every time :(

anyway i'm not planning to take over (or back) mplayer maintainership,
or make any big visible comeback on g2. i have some ideas, i'll try
them and probably release them, as RFC at ffmpeg-devel or here, maybe
even implement some code (in ffmpeg or g2 or g1), but dont expect anything.
maybe i'll get some coding job soon and will not have time to do these...
