cat 1.mpg > /dev/dvb/adatper0/dvr0; cat 2.mpg > /dev/dvb/adatper0/dvr0; 
cat 3.mpg > /dev/dvb/adatper0/dvr0

(admitting that catting to dvr0 still works; try only 1 file first)
