Re: mplayer output to dvb card

Here are some results:

xvid videos:
tried -speed and -nosound settings with and without vf
results: still flicking, some xvids do not need -vf expand to play but some do (because mpegpes card is compatible with only certain resolutions)

mpeg2/pva:
pva video tested with -vf expand setting on or off
when -vf expand is specified the video is flickering b&w
when -vf expand is not specified the video plays without flickering

The thing of importance that I notice is that xvids complain in console that it "could not find matching colorspace" and the pva files complain of the same issue only when -vf expand is used which makes them flicker (otherwise they play normally without that setting).

Looks like colorspace might have something to the flickering.  Let me know if there is anything you would like me to try.

30000/25025 or
-nosound -speed 24000/25025 with or without -vf expand
