Applied your patch to: dvbin.h, stream_dvb.c, dvb_tune.c

Did make distclean && configure && make

Ran ./mplayer -dvbin blocking dvb://HD5
(and checked that blockingflag was actually 0)

Same problems with I-Frames: Messages and artefacts;-(
