How to view DVB subtitles.

Hi,

I'm trying to view subtitles from a DVB channel (BBC ONE in London).
The output of mplayer is

TS file format detected.
VIDEO MPEG2(pid=600) AUDIO MPA(pid=601) NO SUBS (yet)!  PROGRAM N. 4164
VIDEO:  MPEG2  720x576  (aspect 3)  25.000 fps  4350.0 kbps (543.8 kbyte/s)

In channels.conf i've added the pid for the subtitles

BBC ONE:505833330:INVERSION_AUTO:BANDWIDTH_8_MHZ:FEC_3_4:FEC_3_4:QAM_16:TRANSMISSION_MODE_2K:GUARD_INTERVAL_1_32:HIERARCHY_NONE:600+4164+603:601:4164

then I run mplayer like this

mplayer "dvb://BBC ONE"

or

mplayer "dvb://BBC ONE" -slang eng

If I enable -v I can see the subtitles are found

anything I am missing?
