I'm having problems with the following network setup: PC with DVB card ============= terminal 1: tzap <channel> terminal 2: dvbstream -ps <vpid> <apid> PC with display =========== terminal 1: mplayer rtp://224.0.1.2:5004 It basically works, ie I get packets going over the network and I get a video and audio display. However, it's really corrupted and totally unwatchable. I've tried adding various -cache values, but this does not improve it. The mplayer terminal screen shows a stream of errors that look like this: Stray packet (seq[18]=53557 seq=53555, newseq=-2 found at 16) Stray packet (seq[18]=53557 seq=53556, newseq=-1 found at 17) Is this a bug in dvbstream? Is this code maintained? I can't get to the author's website at linuxstb.org, and the version I have (0.5) appears to be quite old. I have good reception, and when I capture to a file with dvbstream, the file plays back just fine. Any ideas? I'm not stuck on using this combination of programs if there is a better alternative. thanks Andrew
