Thanks for taking the time to write that very thorough response. I tried yo=
ur suggestions and I'm still having issues. I compiled liba52 and recompile=
d mplayer. I also noticed that I was missing my /etc/mplayer/codecs.conf fi=
le, so I copied it from the source. =

Do you have anymore ideas? You mentioned capturing the stream=85 what's the=
 best way to go about doing this? I tried -dumpvideo but I can't tell if th=
e issue is occurring when it dumps the video.
