corrected interaced DVB-video from vdapu card to TV SET

Hi

is there any sense to try to output interlace dvb-video 576i or 1080i from vdpau nvidia card to TV set ? 

I heard that there is some issues (timing ?? ) ? that's why it will be very difficult to send
on TV correct interlace signal.   Correct ? 

Am I right that the best solution is to make deinterlacing (temporal spatial)  and upscale (576 -->
1080) with card, not with TV ?
