No - I haven't abandoned them, there has just not been any need to do 
any further development.  They work perfectly for me, and I still use 
them every day.

However, I don't have a DVB-C card so I can't help with this particular 
problem.

But please make sure you are using the latest CVS versions as the 
website says - the .tar.gz releases are really old now.
