Skystar 2 & mplayer 1.0pre2 probs

So I managed to compile mplayer with dvb with 2.6 kernel.

Starting mplayer with

mplayer dvb://"ZDF" -vo xv -ao arts -vc ffmpeg2

it shows video and gives sound, but only for a few seconds and then 
shuts down with errors. Full output at the end.

But using szap and then mplayer with

mplayer -vo xv -ao arts -vc ffmpeg2 - </dev/dvb/adapter0/dvr0

it works without problems! So I guess something in the dvb routine in 
mplayer in not OK.
