lavc -- mpegpes

Hello and happy new year !!


I try to play an lavc-mpeg4 memencoded file through the DVB outpu of my 
nexus-S card. And I have the following problem :

If I try :

mplayer film.avi -vo mpegpes

mplayer says to scale the video:

then I try :

mplayer film.avi -vo mpegpes -vf scale=768:576

and mplayer complains:

VDec: vo config request - 524 x 572 (preferred csp: Planar YV12)
Opening video filter: [lavc]
The selected video_out device is incompatible with this codec.

FATAL: Could not initialize video filters (-vf) or video output (-vo).


Where am I making a mistake ?
